Caribou County
S. Doug Wood
Serving the Citizens of Caribou County Since 2013
I received my law degree from Southern Illinois University School of Law in 2007. My family and I greatly enjoy the opportunity to live and serve in this wonderful part of Idaho. We love to be outdoors together enjoying the beautiful area while camping, hunting, or fishing. During the fall, you can often find us cheering on the Seattle Seahawks.
In continuing that theme of service, I participate in the Lions Club, the Boy Scouts of America, ecclesiastical activities, and coaching youth sports in our community.
Before serving as the Caribou County Prosecutor, I worked as a law clerk at the Caribou County Courthouse. Working in that position helped me see the good I could do as a prosecutor. I ran for the position of Caribou County Prosecutor because I have a great interest in serving my community and fellow citizens. It makes me feel good knowing I help enforce the laws of the County and keep the community safe. Fulfilling my duties as the Caribou County Prosecutor is a privilege.
At the Caribou Prosecutor’s Office, we offer a welcoming atmosphere to the public. Great attention is given to each case that comes through our office. We also enjoy working with law enforcement agencies and their officers. Fostering healthy relationships with both the public and law enforcement helps promote public safety in our community.
