DRIGGS — The felony rape case against Tetonia resident Ryan Berry has been dismissed by the Teton County prosecutor. The case is the longest-standing sexual assault case in the county’s history with charges first filed in 2018.
BOISE, Idaho — A prosecutor reviewing the Critical Incident Task Force investigation has cleared Boise Police officers who shot and killed a man in October 2021 in downtown Boise.
POCATELLO – A federal jury sitting in Pocatello convicted a Pocatello man on April 5, 2022, for failure to register as a sex offender.
According to court records and evidence presented at trial, Kenneth Shaye Simmons, 46, was previously convicted in the state of Utah of sexual abuse of a child. As a result of his conviction, the Sex Offender Registration and Notification Act (SORNA) required Simmons to register as a sex offender.
COEUR D’ALENE – A Kamiah man was sentenced to 235 months in federal prison for second degree murder.
