Serving the Citizens of Fremont County Since 2017
I grew up in Fremont County, went to school in Fremont County, and I recently purchased my parents' home in Fremont County. While going to college, I graduated from Ricks College, Idaho State University, and University of Idaho. My roots to Fremont County and Idaho run deep. It is my deepest desire to serve those who live in our wonderful county and come here to enjoy our beautiful scenery and the genuinely good people who live here.
I also enjoy spending time with my family or attending a sporting event at North Fremont High School, my alma mater. I even run an occasional 5K or 10K race in an attempt to keep in shape.
I enjoy serving on the Fremont County Joint School District as a board trustee. I also attend several community/local agency meetings and occasionally help volunteer for community running events when work allows.
After working for seven years in a busy civil practice, involving family law and complex litigation, I made the change to representing Fremont County as the prosecuting attorney. I have always loved the law and enjoyed the practice of law. I could not have imagined how much more I came to love the practice of law after working as the Fremont County Prosecuting Attorney. The answers to each case are rarely simple, but I have always believed that my first priority is to help the victims know that someone is fighting in their corner and fighting to ensure justice prevails. I also believe in attempting to help improve society by giving some offenders a chance for treatment, when the facts of the case support a treatment option.
